Hello from Michigan!

Hello,

I'm looking to possibly get a Jayco 264BH in the near future, so I thought I would sign up. Along those lines, I'm trying to figure out what a good price would be. If you can help me, I made a thread here:

Recent 264BH Owners - What is a good price?

Any answers are appreciated!

I used to own a Coachmen Clipper Cadet 17CBH, but with 4 kids and a 5th on the way, we simply outgrew it. Luckily, the current market allowed me to sell it for more than we bought it for new 4 years ago. Can't complain!

Check out Haylett RV in Coldwater. They were great to work with before and after the sale, they matched the lowest online price I could find.

Thanks, Sundancer. That is who I'm hoping to work with. I have closer dealers, but they're only 1.5 hours away from me. Love their YouTube channel!

Out of curiousity, where did you find your lowest online price? Cheapest I've found to date for a 22 is $21,990 and $18,911 for a 21.

I live a little north of General RV in Wixom, tried to deal with them but they would not move enough on price. And their record for taking care of customers after the sale is very poor. Haylett is about 140 miles from me, I did all the negotiating by phone, once we had an agreed out the door price I drove over and looked at the trailer. I think it was a quote from RV One in NY which I did online that they matched. I only had two warranty issues and both times they sent the parts UPS within 10 days direct from Jayco, never went back for any service. It was a win win for me.

Thanks again, Sundancer. We bought our first trailer from General RV. Mainly because they had a good deal at an RV show on the unit we wanted. Luckily, never had to have them do any warranty work on it. We've heard so many bad things since then however, that we won't be going back.

Beware of no local dealer service!

We were price shopping for our 5er, almost bought one in Indiana, good price, but 4 hrs away. Glad we found one closer, only 1 hr away. Many RV service departments are back logged and they won't do warranty work on your rv unless you bought it there. 31 warranty items so far, I fixed many. Leaking hydraulic lift pump and bad rear axle were dealer only fixes, I tried to have parts shipped to me instead of waiting but the dealer refused. Been returned to dealer 5 times so far, under 1 year of 2 year warranty left, hoping all the kinks are finally worked out.....
