Hello from near Cobourg, Ontario

We just bought a new 2012 Jay Flight 26RLS this morning, sight unseen, over the internet. I did a lot of research and visiting of dealers before choosing this model. This website helped us to make our decision a lot easier on buying a Jayco. We started out with a 2002 26' Prowler Lynx Ultra Lite Canadian Edition. It was a good starter unit for us and ideal for 2 adults. We got the upgrade bug after spending 3 1/2 weeks on the road this summer. My wife and I are both retired and wanted something with a little more room and comfort. The 26RLS fit the bill. We are hoping to get some camping in before that white stuff shows up.

Hello and welcome to Jayco Owners Forum. Glad the site has already helped you and I know that you will get a lot of help from other members in the future. Just ask. You are going to like your new Jayco. When you get it delivered, just load it up with a few essentials and head to the campground!

Welcome to the forum, bear. I love the floorplan and size of the 26RLS.

Thanks Crabman, our dealer had such a big sale that the earliest we could get the dealer prep/run thru/pick up done was 09 Oct. Apparently they sold over 100 units in the last 2 weeks, all Jayco models by the way. Unfortunately for us, because we are like little kids and want to play with our new toy now, we have to wait!! Now that we we are a 2 trailer family, does anyone have a suggestion on where and when to sell a used trailer privately? We are in a position that we can wait until spring, but is there a market for sale of a used trailer now? Any pointers on the sale of a used unit would be appreciated or we may end up with his & her trailers which might be a problem with only one tow vehicle.

Welcome to the JOF, and congrats on the new trailer. For starters, why not advertise your old rig right here on the JOF "RVs For Sale" dept ?
