Hello from Newfoundland

Just joined but on our second Jayco. Started with a 2007 Jay Series 1006 Pop Up then upgraded to the Skylark 21FBV in 2012. We Love the Skylark. It's just my wife and I and Max the dog most of the time with occasional trips with grandkids. I am always looking for ways to mod/improve the Skylark and hope to get a few ideas here.

We will be back next year! Dildo Run is our favorite campground.

We did a lot of our trailer snooping in Newfoundland. You were all most gracious in letting people from away into your homes away from homes on wheels.

And we loved our tour of Bell's Island by a local.. we went berrying and gathering special dirt. I forget why the dirt was special.

We were there last summer for five weeks. Previous summer of 3 weeks. We are still missing Burin Peninsula.
Maybe you can give us hints for parking in St Johns? What the heck do we do with cramped parking and an RV or truck with kayaks on top..We had to grab some locals who told us what permitted lots to cheat in. Not much open air parking for tall things.

We have made 3 trips to the Rock, 2009, 2012 and last summer. Been on every peninsula. First trip was 4 weeks and last 2 were 7 weeks each. Also crossed over to Labrador for 4 nights. We'll be back with the grandkids likely. Lots of beautiful vistas, lots of bullwinkles, met a lot of wonderful genuine people.
Yes by, we will return.

I made a couple of trips to Newfoundland delivering trailers for Jayco; from Port aux Basques to St.John's, if I recall correctly. Sadly, those trips were rushed with only time to see the what was along the road.
