Hello from NJ - Eagle has Arrived!!

Hi All,

New to the Jayco's - in December DW and I custom ordered a 16 Eagle 314BHDS.

It arrived at our local dealer last Friday! We ran up to check it out and are very excited to begin our camping season over memorial day weekend. We are closing this Saturday and will be storing it at the dealer until we are ready to pick it up (likely one week before our first trip).

The PDI and truck setup will occur when we pick up the trailer.

Our TV is a 2002 Chevy Avalanche 2500.

We are not new to camping but new to the Jayco's. Anything to look out for?

Thanks,

Lucas

Yeah, get used to the weight police telling you the Avalanche is to small. Then show them the 496 cubic inch engine !!!

Ha! Thanks and I'll be ready. I even considered getting some of the "8.1 Vortech" stickers for the truck - but then decided it would be more fun to leave it as a sleeper and pop the hood when the questions come.

Congrats on the new Eagle, enjoy

Appears you are well prepared for the 'Weight Police', enjoy that also!

The 4.10 gears would give you some headroom but I do not put much stock in factory tow ratings.
