Hello from NW Montana

Hi folks. My wife and I are retired deputy sheriff's from beautiful Flathead County Montana. Although I'm new to this forum, I am a seasoned Jayco owner. I purchased my first fiver in 1995. It was a 1996 Jayco Designer 3030 RKS. It served us well for 17 years including our full time residence as we were building our house. I then traded it in for a 2013 Eagle 28.5. Although it worked, I was not happy with the layout (my fault) or the quality of construction. Yesterday I traded it in for a 2016 Jayco North Point 311 RKTS. I will pick it up next week. I am very excited and am looking forward to putting a bunch of miles on it.

Thanks for letting me ramble.

Greetings

We're situated a few hours south near Lolo (currently camping in Helena). We have a 2013 Eagle 29.5 rks and am curious the issues you had with your 2013. We've had very few issues but will be getting a new rear wall this winter due to some beginning delamination. All other flaws were minimal.
Your new rig looks nice on the Jayco site. Certainly an upgrade.
Dave

Our trim began coming off in the bedroom, in an area which shouldn't get much stress. Also trim pieces on the rear wall. Everything worked well, I think it was just not the same fit and finish as the Designer we traded in. And, probably it wouldn't have been much of an issue if the layout had been more to our liking.
