Hello from Philly

I'm Thad from Philadelphia, I own a Jayco Jayflight 2015 32TSBH. Been camping for 20 years, mostly with tents or popup trailers until last year took the plunge and got the RV! Have a travel trailer now but already looking forward to maybe a fifth wheel. But I want to get some more fun out of this one first!

Welcome to JOF. We have camped in Penn a few times. My wife's brother lives in Levittown. Not to many places to camp near Philly.

Well there are some, but it depends on what you are looking for. If you are looking for picturesque camping in the great outdoors, then no you wont find it here, but if you are looking for family friendly camping it is available. If you go a bit further out from Philly there are places like worlds end or rickets glenn that are really nice, or we camp in cape may

The only reason we go there is to visit them. We have stayed about 45 minutes up the turnpike in a small cg mostly full timers. I can't even remember the town, but it was not as far as Quakertown.

There are a bunch of nice campgrounds out in Lancaster. Not really close to Philly but not far either.
