Hello from San Antonio!

Hello everyone! Just bought a new to me 09 Jayco Eagle 31.5 BHDS. We previously had a smaller 25 foot travel trailer (Keystone Outback), but wanted some extra space. The Jayco appears to be pretty well made! In a fair comparison, the Outback had luan (think really really thin panels) for the base of the dinette booth seats. I checked in the BHDS and there is (gasp!) actual real plywood under the dinette seats!

Anyway, we live in San Antonio. I'm a newbie in the sense that this is our first Jayco, but I've had about 12 year's experience with RV'ing. We started out in a pop-up when the kids were really small. We moved up to the Keystone Outback when the kids got older. We moved up to the Jayco because we were tripping over each other, needing more space.

Hope to have many fun years with this camper! Based on our initial walk-through, I can already tell there's a few questions I'm going to post about...vying for the vast collective knowledge of the forum members.

See you around!
