Hello from south Texas

I'm Wendy and my dh is Marlin. We have three children 19, 17 and 11. We just purchased a 1988 Jayco Dove 6 in lovely shape. Just needs a jack welded and some minor canvas repair (thankfully, I sew). We do plan to completely redo the interior even though it doesn't need it at all (it's my aesthetic sense and love of sewing). We have been huge tent campers since we met 24 years ago and decided to take a step up (a bit at a time...looked at vintage Minnie Winnies and full size Winnebagos as well but the jayco condition and price were too good to pass up).

We have a family ranch in Comanche, TX where it will be during hunting season and on most weekends (fully stocked large spring fed pond. Also a 100+ yo house that is being rebuild but has all new wiring, full kitchen and bath). Summers...a beach RV park or who knows where (dh & 17 yo are big into fishing & hunting).

Growing up my family owned airstreams, a jayco, and an orange VW popup as well as going tent camping regularly.

Very nice to be here!

Welcome and congrats on your NTU pop up camper. We had ours for almost 10 yrs. I loved it but DH was tired of the setup and tear down time even though we shared the duties. Enjoy.
