Hello from Southern California

Hi All,

Just wanted to take a minute to say hello. Been reading the forum for a while now and decided to join so I can have more access and see the pics.
We are looking at buying a new TT before next summer. We're undecided on the exact make and model but I really like the Jay Flight 26BH myself. There's also an R-Vision that we like as well. Time and money will tell.

We've had 2 RV's in the past and really enjoyed both of them. I can't wait to get back out there and start RV'ing again!

Doug, thanks for the warm welcome!

I really enjoy reading the posts in JOF. There is such a wealth of great information here. I especially enjoy seeing pics of upgrades or mods that people have made to their RV's. I'm sure I'll have questions to ask everyone once we get closer to actually putting a deposit on a TT. Once we get the TT, the first mod will be to use a tip posted here about locking the propane tanks and the battery to the rig to prevent theft while the rig is stored.
Cheers!

Welcome to the group! Great plans for mods - my first was adding a second battery and a cutoff switch. Then I locked everything up! Whatever you end up getting, make sure you post pictures!

Eric,
Thanks for the welcome!

I will definitely post pics when we pick out our new TT. It probably won't be till next spring unless a deal comes along that we can't pass up (fingers crossed).

Welcome BlueHaul. We just brought home our new White Hawk 30dsre this week. Trip coming up soon for a shakedown. Mods we had done at dealer was Progressive hardwired surge protector/monitor and battery cutoff switch. Right now our livingroom is a mess as we are sorting things out to decide what we want to put back in from our old trailer.

Adding a Blu Ray player, 2nd tv/dvd combo in bedroom, towel shelf in bathroom and organizer drawers for oitside storage bays. Pics posting soon.
