Hello from Sunny Texas!

New to the RV community and in the process of purchasing our first 5th wheel, a Jayco Eagle 317RLOK. We plan on eventually getting "in the wind" full time (hence the handle) as soon as our daughter is off the payroll and then we will leave the trappings of suburbia behind.

I'm a retired Army First Sergeant/combat medic and retired DoD/Army civil servant and my wife is an active Operating Room nurse. Gotta love those traveling nurse agencies!

We're looking forward to making new friends in the future and exploring some new spaces/places. Maybe we'll meet up on the road somewhere!

Welcome, I'm retired military also, many years ago and a couple careers behind me since then. The RV life is a good one. Welcome. We travel about 5 months per year. I hope you you enjoy it as much as we have for the past 40+ years. As an aside: two of my kids are also avid campers. Two out of Three, no bad.

I forgot to tell you. My grandson is in his second year in the Army, 82nd Airborne and loves it. I hope the political situation lets him make a career of it like I did, my sister did and my father did. My brother also served n Vietnam as well as my self.
