Hello from Tennessee

Hello all! My wife and I will be taking delivery of out first Jayco next week. We're upgrading from a 2006 30' el'cheapo TT with no slide to a 2014 Eagle HT 29.5 BHDS. Haven't found much information on the 29.5 online, so If you have one I'd love to hear your opinion on it. I bet we've looked at 50 TTs and 5ers over the last year, but when we walked in the 29.5 BHDS we knew we had found the one. You know you have a winner when the wife and kids all agree on the same one haha.

We're looking forward to to the great site.

Good Possibility, Looks like were neighbors. I'm in Athens. I stay at Watts Bar in the summer and take a few trips in spring and fall.

Thanks for all the welcomes thus far.

Congratulations! and welcome to The Forum!

My biggest complaint about bunkhouse units (particularly 5'ers) is the lack of closet space. Sure you can sleep 8 people, but where are you going to put their clothes? Your 29.5 BHDS is certainly the exception! Tons of closet space, a T.V. you can watch without cranking your neck to the side, a huge outside kitchen, and a GVW under 10K. What's not to like?! You, my friend, have found the perfect family camper!

ENJOY!

Took delivery yesterday and moved it to our lake site and set it up. Just got everything moved back in from our trade. Excited to say everything works perfect so far! I couldn't be happier with our purchase and look forward to years of use out of it.

Got a couple pictures. Excuse the mess, we were still in ''the move'' and had stuff thrown where ever we could get it out of the way.

Hooked to ole trusty f-250 in dealers lot while unloading some stuff from our trade.

Setup and almost picked up and organized.....probably still be moving stuff for weeks to come haha.

...and 25' from the front door we have wattah!

Really enjoying the 29.5 so far. We stayed in it 4 nights so far. Off work all next week for the Independence day so she'll get broke it then.

Great looking rig! We just ordered one. Can't wait. Seems to be an extremely popular floor plan. Did you pull that boat behind it? And by chance do you have awnings over the slides?
