Portland? I grew up in Corpus Christi and we moved to Taft when I was in highschool (dad was tired of making that drive from Saratoga lane to Dupont Plant in Ingleside!). Concerning trailer weight, I was just stating it was much heavier than the trailer I had prior. I drive a RAM 2500 (see signature). thanks
setxeagle - We're currently working in the Pacific Northwest but we're from the Dallas, Texas area. PNW highlights: West Coast with near perfect summer weather. Beautiful landscapes with ocean views, mountains, some of the biggest trees around and camping is awesome. There's more beer and wine than anyone could ever drink and weed is LEGAL.

On the flip side weed is legal, so there's a drug epidemic and a homeless crisis. After that you only have to concern yourself with months of rain, earthquakes, tsunami's, mud slides, sink holes, forest fires, ANTIFA protesters and state tax. (Sorry if I missed something)

You can say we miss the great State of Texas. Beautiful landscapes to go camping if you don't mind driving a while to get there. I also miss the State Fair of Texas, Grapefest, Oktoberfest, Car shows, Air shows, Motorcycle rallies and GOOD Tex-Mex food! Homesick - Maybe a little.

Alright, I mistook Portland to be little town sandwiched between corpus Christi and Taft. Myself, I've only gotten as far west as San Francisco, but family and friends can attest to the beautiful landscapes of the PNW. Funny but so true on the consequences of legalizing weed and other potential "hazards" of the north west!!! Take care.

Newbie Jayco Owner

Just purchased a 2019 Pinnacle 36kpts. Traded up from a Forest River Cedar Creek. Have only had it for a couple weeks but I'd sure like to touch base with anyone that has the same year and model. So far so good. Well, almost.
