Hello from the California Central Coast 😊
Imagine two old(ish) women buying an old(er) Greyhawk and not knowing how to operate much of anything...that would be me and my companion. We’ve had our 2004 24SS for over a year, but we have never taken it out overnight.
We can’t wait to go somewhere, but we are finding out that we need to learn to do things with/to our old motor home, Bertha. (We name our vehicles, wacky as that may sound.)
We have already been able to get help from this forum, just using Google to search for information. But some of our questions remain unanswered, so I hope those of you who have the answers will be patient with us.
With luck, we’ll actually get on the road in the next few months, and perhaps even meet some of you experts!

Howdy from Georgia! Everyone here is helpful and patient with less experienced folks. Also keep on mind that the neighbors in the campsites you visit are usually friendly and helpful. Keep at it, and soon you’ll be experts!

Set it up at a Wal-Mart parking lot and take it down just for practice. That way you know what you are getting into. Welcome from Oregon!

Welcome to the Forum from Western New York State! Ask anything you want to, and someone here on the Forum will have an answer for you. We were all new, also. It's an ongoing learning experience for us all. Safe travels!

Welcome from Wisconsin. Lots of friendly, knowledgeable and helpful people here to assist you with any questions. For your first overnight find someplace close, camp driveway if possible or a local campground. Try out all the systems to get familiar with them. Plenty of U-tube videos out there that might help you figure stuff out. Remember we were all new to this RV stuff at one time but we figured it out. You will too. There are no mistakes, just learning experiences.
