We aren't quite Jayco owners yet. Everything is ready for pickup in a couple of days. We're looking at a 2016 27BHS. Never owned a Jayco before, So any advice or opinions are welcome. Our last trailer was a 1990 Kit Sunchaser. Which had some big time leaks that were repaired by a previous owner, but the black spots on the walls were everywhere. Other than that everything else was original and worked fine.
My wife is excited to pick the Jay Flight up! I'm always nervous about buying new things. I read all the horror stories/reviews. Seems like every manufacture has them, which is really too bad. And I believe it's our fault, build it cheaper which means faster and less QC.
Anyone have opinions on extended warranty's on trailers through Good Sam? Just wondering what anyone else thought. Everything is so expensive when you deal with a trailer.
Welcome. So your picking up the 27bhs in a couple of days. Or your going to look and ready for pickup if it works out? Either way it's a good floor plan. We just got our second Jayco. First was problem free and pray this one will be too.
Welcome to the forum! Most will tell you to skip the extended warranty and save your money. We bought our Jayco in March of 2013 and I never had to return to the dealer for warranty work but did a few minor repairs myself. Jayco and their dealers are pretty good about making their customers happy when it comes to repairs during the two year warranty. If I were buying a new Jayco again, I'd skip the extended warranty at the time of the purchase but maybe consider it near the end of the factory warranty...don't pay for coverage that's already provided.
