Hi all, my husband and I put a deposit down on a brand new Jay Flight SLX 8 235rks on Sunday, and we pick it up this upcoming Saturday!
We currently own a Coleman pop up camper that we had a particularly bad camping experience in this past holiday weekend (specifically heat + thunderstorms + fireworks + leaving everything unzipped to cool it off + an epileptic dog = multiple grand mal seizures and a soaking wet camper inside from downpours), and decided we needed a travel trailer.
This will be my husband's first experience with a travel trailer (his family did camp in a pop up), but I have grown up RVing. In fact, when my parents went to a travel trailer from a pop up when I was a kid, they bought a Jayco
. So it was only natural that we would also end up in a Jayco. I cannot wait to take it out for the first time, and many more times after that! I am also looking forward to the air conditioning, bathroom inside, staying dry in rain, and opportunities to bake while camping for family and friends!
