Smile Hello from Washington

We (Mark and Marilyn) have had our x17z for nearly a year, and are finally getting around to officially joining the forum. We tow it with a 2011 4Runner -- stabilizers and sway bar -- which works very well for us. The low range 4WD makes a big difference on long, steep, dirt roads I often drive to fishing sites. We had a popup for several years but decided we wanted a shower, fridge, etc., and are very happy with the "X-Box." Love that the floor space is preserved by the drop down beds at each end. With an 80 watt portable solar panel we are able to recharge the battery and boondock for a couple weeks at a time.

My only real concern (at the moment!) is the single axle and tire size. One of my tires has split near the rim, so I need to replace it. However, we are seriously considering upgrading to 14 inch rims/tires. Any thoughts on that would be appreciated. Otherwise we are extremely happy with our unit.

Welcome to the forum!

Check out this thread in the hybrid board: http://www.jaycoowners.com/showthrea...er-10-lift-kit
It's likely one of those guys will have some insight on moving up to a 14 inch wheel.

We're also in WA and are having a blast with our Jayco hybrid after really enjoying our Jayco pop-up.
The PNW really is a fantastic area to explore...
