Hello from West Coast Canada
Hello, we have just bought out first family rv. it's an older unit, class c 1989 with 37k miles. 27ft, back bedroom with split washroom and two swivel chairs and table beside the dinette. 4k onan on board, not original. it's a "few years old", looks quite new still. starts easily. the unit seems quite solid and the coach makes very little noise on the road, no squeaks from the cabinet or doors opening. also has a hitch at both ends, so I can put my bike rack on the front and a storage shelf on the back.
I just picked it up, and will have a mechanic friend go over it for me. so far it seems strong enough (460/4.10) and rides straight on the highway.
My wife and young son look forward to getting out, probably do a week in the beginning of april. only plans so far would be to cut the carpet out of the kitchen and hallway area, and replace with vinyl planks.
I will read through the info here, and do my best to take care of the rv.

thanks everybody, I did put up more pictures in the c class area.
yes i have logistical planning to do for the summer. our provincial parks don't take reservations until may. first come basis until then. and the week in july we plan on going is too far ahead to reserve. I'll have to book that in a couple weeks.

Welcome. We head to Washington state quite often, their state parks are quite nice and there are a number of them within an hour of the border.

Skaling I work with someone that loves Birch Bay, just minutes past the border. I've never been myself.
