Hello from Western North Carolina

Hello all!
Really enjoy reading all of the great advice on here and the mods on your Jaycos. My wife and I and son, who is 4, just purchased a 2008 Jayco Jay Feather 25f and already been on one trip to Charleston, SC. Really love the layout and the "well builtness" of the Jayco after haven had r-visions and keystones. Pulls like a dream. We have two more trips planned this summer to Boone, NC and Pigeon Forge, TN. Maybe we will see you there. WE are both teachers, her Math and me Agriculture, enjoy camping and restoring antique tractors.

Welcome to the forum. I am planning a trip to North Carolina for next summer. Please advise on a few nice camp spots if you have time.

Hey Lady Wedolyn, thanks.
It depends on what part of the state you want to visit. We live near Asheville, the Western part and camp mostly within 3 hours. Some places that we have stayed and can recommend are:
Boone KOA, Boone, NC
Raccoon Hollar, West Jefferson, NC
Daniel Boone, Morganton, NC, very, very nice
Happy Holiday, Cherokee, NC
W Kerr Scott Dam near Wilkesboro, NC
On the coast is Ocean Waves on the Outer banks

Hope this helps. If you need specifics, let me know.

We just returned home to Charleston from Pride Resort in Waynesville. Really hated to come home.

Welcome to the forum.

Welcome to JOF, Kevin. Glad to have you aboard. When you can, post some photos of your restored tractors and your Jayco.
