Hello from Wichita Falls TX

Just wanted to say hello and glad I found this group. I’m a first time owner of a 2018 Jayco Whitehawk. Bought it back in summer of 2017 before moving from California to Texas. Looking forward to learning new things from everyone.

Welcome from Northern Neck Virginia... We really enjoyed the Wichita Falls area camping. Had kids growing up there and loved to take them up across the Oklahoma line north of Lawton OK at the Wichita Mtns Wildlife Refuge at Medicine Park OK. Kids got to see wild Buffalo and Long Horn Cattle up close. A real treat for them was Prairie Dog city....

Great camping both Tent and Trailers at Camp Doris inside the refuge...

I’ve been to Medicine Park a few times. Just to walk around. Would love to get up there and camp sometime. Beautiful area. I’ll have to see when we can fit that one in this summer.

Wife and I were up there one time leaning on a tall fence looking at the Buffalo's on the other side... Then we heard a big grunt behind us haha Had to tippie toe to the truck haha

Hi. Spent some time in Wichita Falls courtesy of the Air Force a few decades ago. Always thought Texas was warm but froze my butt off there
