Hello! New member here from Illinois

Just discovered this site this morning. Looks like a good place for info. on Jayco products. We bought a new Jayco Designer in Nov. of 2002 Have spent over 1300 nights in it so far. It has held up very well! Very few problems in the ten years of camping. Just started "full timing" in July of 2012. Been thinking aabout a new Pinnacle but curious about any problems people who have them might be having. Need to know ahead of time because as a full timer there will be no warranty!
Anyhow I will be checking for info periodically and helping out with any info I can relate to help some one else, as the opportunity arises.
We are currently in South Texas near Corpus Christie. in the summer we move to our summer Camp ground in Shelbyville Illinois. WE just move back and forth between those locations. Traveled the lower 48 years ago on our Motorcycle towing a "Bunkhouse' camper behind. We don't feel the need to travel other than to the warmth of Texas.

Thanks

Where you do summer camp in Shelbyville? It would be someplace new for us. We live in Urbana.

I think you are the second person who has brought up Robin Hood Woods. It is on our list of new places to go this camping season. It isn't all that far.

It has been a long time sence I have been to Shelbyville. If I remember correctly, there is a Joe's Pizza on the east end, a small gun shop down town, and an RV dealer on the west side. And most important, a Dairy Queen.

We will look you up when we go there.

Regards and save travels,

Yep, will have to put it on our list of places to visit this summer. We will hopefully be gone most of April to Manchester Tennessee and then to Effingham, Illinois. I know we have some friends who want us to "wagon master" a trip to Mackinaw City, but that won't be until August, and we have a rally to attend in September in Iowa. The wife has never said yes or no to the Jayco Rally in North Carolina. I got a feeling we will end up going. However, Shelbyville will be on the list of places to go this year. I remember delivering to a school on the North side of town??? They were not exactly happy their ordered showed in in a 53 foot trailer. Long story. I guess they thought that their order was coming down in a pick-up. It was funny. But I digress.......We will meet up sometime this year.

Safe travels home from Texas.

That sounds good. We won't get there till the last week of April, or first week of May! Got some buissiness to take care of with my son in the LaSalle Peru area in April. Going to miss some good Bass fishing I fear! But ya gotta do what ya gotta do!
Hope to meet you then.
