Hello to all!

Checking in to introduce ourselves to what we can see is a wonderful bunch of folks with loads of good tips. My wife and I are in the process of upgrading from a hardside popup (loved it for a while) due to needs brought on by demands of increasing age. All factors considered, especially gvwr, we are looking closely at the Jay Flight 195RB. But, we are considering pulling out the dinette seats and table and replacing them with some euro recliners, etc. Can anyone tell me what might be hidden under the seats in that model? Know that there is a wheel well there, but can deal with that. Also, would appreciate knowing where the 12 v water pump/winterization intake tube is located. Looking forward to all the great info. Thanks in advance, Happy Trails!

Thanks for the replies folks. As it is, we have already decided to pursue another model, the Jay Flight SLX 7 175RD. This unit meets all of our requirements. Again, thanks. Happy Trails!

Welcome from Southern California Oldscout.

Sounds like you're going to mod whichever camper you end up with just for your needs and desires. Yep, plenty of great folks here - and amazing craftsmen - to help out.

Keep us in the loop with details of your whole process and don't forget to include lots of pictures once you pull the trigger!

Good luck on your search.

Jeff

Grew up in Bakersfield, Jeff. Life has taken me ever northward as I now reside in Washington state. The song "Ventura Highway" will always evoke nostalgic memories. Thanks for the welcome. Happy Trails.

Although you have a different floor plan. We have replaced a way too small of a jack knife couch for 2 smaller lazy-boy recliners. Several that are not on the showroom floor are available to order. They used to have smaller style love-seats that were a wall hugger style. I saw a uro style recliner and foot stool at Camping World that is easily moved around and still had comfort. As far as the fit? Take measurements and call around. Remember that perfect modification is out there so "Stay thirsty my friend".
