Hey everyone

We will sign papers tomorrow on a 2017 Jay Feather. We are upgrading from a pop up as we get ready for retirement in a few years. (Want to have it paid for before we retire!) Not at all ready to give up the roughing it aspect of camping and hoping we can keep some of that essence while we camp in luxury with the Jay Feather. We chose this model because of the murphy bed in back. It makes sense to not waste floor space for a bed.

We were excited and all set to go with our purchase, when last night, a friend of ours was adamant that we should purchase anything BUT a Jayco due to the poor quality. But after scouring the internet and reading this forum, I am feeling more confident about our purchase.

Any thoughts or concerns?
Looking forward to meeting you all on the forum! Happy trails!

Hello and congrats on the new trailer. We love out little Jayco and more importantly I think it's the dealer that will make or break your experience. We had a few issues (more common issues) but our dealer was exceptional in working with us to resolve and fix our issues. So, do your research on the dealer and make sure they have a great "after" sale reputation.

Good luck on your purchase and happy camping!

Not that you will need it, but how many other RV Manufactures have a 2 year warranty.... I believe Jayco is the only one..
