Hey yall I'm here hoping to learn about my camper. I just got a newer one since my old one was falling apart. I'm a old disabled vetran living in north east Georgia.

Welcome to Jayco Owner's Forum from New Hampshire.
Which camper did you get and do you travel with it?
We passed near Lyerly Georgia recently on our way to Central Florida. Georgia and Alabama have some excellent camping sites.

I have a 10,000lb 31' travel trailer and i pull it with a 5.3 v8 engine and it pulls fine but you know its back there. I'm looking to buy a new truck and I'm looking at a 6.2 v-8 10spd GMC at4x with a rear wheel ratio of 3.23. Will this pull my camper or do I need to just bump up to a 2500HD?

I got me a jayco 4112 toyhauler. Next summer I will be going up to Illinois with it to visit with my family there. I just got this one to replace my old camper that was starting to break down on me too much. Ya we got some pretty places here to camper and explore. I'm suprised yall pass by it everyone always ask me where it is lol.

It never hurts to go bigger if u can afford it. I started with dodge 350's then went to the Ram 3500 with the cummins in it to pull my camper and equipment trailers. The only time I feel a trailer back there is when I'm hauling my loaded which weights 38000 pound.

I am not an expert on GMC trucks, having moved along to Fords about ten years ago. But the 3.23 rear end sounds a bit on the low end for towing, even with the upgrade engine. Ask about that and make sure this is standard or just a truck that was ordered for someone. I know I would not be comfortable for towing that big of a camper with that setup, except on the flatter parts of the country.

2017 23RB Jayco Jayflight, great camper, loved it but sold, dog told me she needed more room, rigged perfectly and updated for off the grid.

Hey I need help finding a diagram for the water control panel. The owner before me did some work on the connection on the back of it and got it all backwards. No matter what ways I have the knobs turned it only fills my water tank and over flows out the tubes in the belly

I believe I have the truck you’re looking at. 2022 Chevy 1\2 ton 4x4, 6.2 gas, 10 spd transmission, 3.23 differential, with tow package .The towing capacity on it is 9100 lbs. I pull a baby trailer with it and have no issues at all. Would I be comfortable towing a 10,000 lb trailer— NO. To much trailer for the truck. I would definitely go 3/4 ton. Hope this helps. Safe travels!

Make sure you have all the low point drain valves closed.
