Hi everyone

My wife and I are new to the forum but have owned a Jay Feather Select 29L since 2011. We are now looking to get a 2014 Jay Flight 33BHTS and are close to purchasing and found the forum while doing some research. This looks like the place to find just about everything on Jayco. Looking forward to being part of the forums.

Hi and welcome to the group!
I joined in the fall of 2013 after we purchased the Jay Flight 33BHTS! We LOVE it!!! We have only been able to stay in it for 3 separate weekends so are so ready for winter to be over and get back into it. Since Fall 2009 we have been in a Seasonal Trailer Park so we no longer tow a trailer (we've did that for over 20 years).....so for us this is more like a cottage.
So far we have had zero complaints and the set up is ideal for our family of 5 (3 kids, 19, 16 and 12). We were able to get the dinette (instead of bench) and the chairs have hidden storage in the seats which is great, and the island is awesome as a pantry.
Jayco really outdid themselves with this setup!! Oh, and the awning has a rope light because of the auto-slideout awning......which is beautiful at night!!
Anything else you would like to know...LOL

We are a family of 5 and have been camping 25 years

Hello Lisa, thanks for your input on the Jay Flight 33BHtS. The layout is great and I like the grey water capacity as our existing trailer has a small tank. We are working on a deal now and hope the numbers work out. How do you like the LED light strip under the awning? I have heard some say they are awfully bright.

Hello Daryl and Sandy! Thanks for the nice welcome. I live very close to Bangor.... I see the fence if I go about a quarter mile down the road. Love it here and love camping here.....especially down by Mt. Rainier and Mt. St. Helens....beautiful.

We really like the LED strip light and didn't find it overly bright as I have read those comments also. I wonder if there are different ones that get installed to make some brighter than others...
On the old ROO it has one of those yellow cap lights and the lighting was just awful...so for us huge upgrade!!!
Also, there is a light under the steps which is a cool feature, we will be adding a deck and won't be using the step light. Yeah the tanks are huge compared to old Roo!!!!
The room in the main bedroom (which this is a 1st for us to have our own bedroom in a trailer..lol) is great! Having a place to actually put clothes etc is wonderful!
Bathroom size for a family of 5 is a bonus as well.....large size shower!!
Did you get the bench or dinette table w/chairs? the chairs have built in storage....which is another bonus for us!!
As we were dreaming about this new trailer I collected a huge amount of pics of the BHTS if you and your wife would like them to browse thru....

Hi Lisa,

Thanks for the offer on the pics. We went and looekd at the 33BHTS and took the plunge! W epicke dit up this past weekend and will be headign out for our first weekend with it this weekend. So excited. Ours has the bench dinette and it has large storage areas under it. It also has the dinette in the rear with storage under the benches there as well. We absolutely love the layout and that our daughter (and my wife and I) have our own areas with real doors! I will be ppostign pics soon and thanks for yoru feedback on the one you bought....we looked at everything and came back to Jayco.
