hi from BC Canada

Hi. We're new to the forum, but bought our "almost new" 2013 Flight 19RD trailer in Oct. 2013. We loved the floor plan instantly for the 3 big rear windows for a panoramic view that cannot be beat. Wow! Sold! There's just the two of us, so it's a good size. We camp at Provincial parks without hookups, so getting a perimeter site with a forest or lake view is so awesome.
We bought it for it's smaller size to pull with our Ford Ranger, but have since upgraded to a Ford F150.
Anyway, it's the RV show this weekend, so I was just getting in the trailer sort of mood before we go. Would also like to read what others have done for mods. We're thinking of a couple of things.
The only thing we'd improve on our model of trailer is to have a walk-around bed... and now I see they have done that with the 21QB. Uh oh... we can pull more now... must resist.... Actually, I think the new bed is too short. Ours is a standard queen, which we know as we added an Ikea mattress under the memory foam we had, over the crappy so-called "mattress" it came with. We love our trailer.
Well... see you around! Look forward to reading your informative posts....

Aloha! We totally know all about your love for 19Rd... we used to have one too and loved that camper very much! However, we FAILED to resist the urge to upgrade... We just brought our 21QB home about a week ago, and now we love it too. I've just started a YouTube channel, and have posted 2 videos so far of our new camper, the one with "messy" in the title you might be interested in, as I show a few of our storage tricks which worked so well in the 19RD still work great in the 21QB as well. We will be working on more mods, one in the bathroom I'm pretty proud of, but no video on that one yet because we are not done, that will come later. Our YouTube address is
https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC5k...q1AXFUCgBs4uFQ

I'd love to see your mods too? It's always fun to see how others go about solving issues and meeting their needs.

Happy Trails to YOU
Tracy

Another fan of the 19RD layout here as well! We have a 2014 we bought used last year. Ours has the thermal package and 90 gallon freshwater, we love both.

1. We replaced every light with LEDs off Amazon. All have worked flawlessly.

2. We added some shelving in the cabinet near the bed to make better use of the space.
3. Maxxair bathroom vent cover

4. Shower corner guards (to prevent water spillage onto floor).

Best Wishes!

Bob
