Hi from Dawg country, aka Athens, Ga.

Nice site you guys have!

We just picked us up a 2013 Jayco SLX 185RB three weeks ago. So far so good. No leaky a/c and no axel issues yet (knock on wood). We got the camper in hopes of getting back into camping. Back in high school and College I camped every weekend and continued to do so until I got married. I even managed one year to log over 125 nights in a sleeping bag. Then we camped a hand full of times until an encounter with a hungry bear one night at Cades Cove (really wasn't a big deal, too me). After that the wife said no more tent camping. So seven years later I stared a search for a Scotty and one day after looking at a piece of rust particles and termites holding hands we stopped in at an RV dealer and left three days later with our little camper. Its not big and fancy but it's lite weight and has just enough room for the two of us. We are looking forward to logging a bunch of nights in this little thing and the wife is already planning a two week trip to Yellow Stone next year.

Welcome to Jayco Owners Forum. It was camping with the bears that convinced my wife that we should go ahead and buy our RV. I love bears.....

Welcome Jon! Congratulations for the upgrade! Can I come with as I've always wanted to go to Yellowstone Nat'l Park. And me, not a fan of bears!
