Hi from Syracuse NY
Seems like a great forum with lots of helpful people. I'm picking up my 2016 12HMD in two weeks. Originally from Plattsburgh NY, I'm missing the ADKs and this little Aframe will help me get back up there a little more.

Welcome. I'm a newbie too and love this forum. This platform has a wealth of information but the best part is a membership with experience and expertise. Born in Syracuse, would have loved to have grown up there.

Welcome to JOF. I spent a couple of years in Syracuse near carrier circle, also live in Buffalo for a couple of years. Great areas for camping!

Was married had a kid and lived in 'cuse for several years. Hubby in the Army back in the Camp Drum days.
Relatives still there. In Plattsburgh too. We lived in Canton too for four years. And get to the Adirondacks regularly a couple of times each year. Because of the Champlain Ferries being tight and expensive I am glad for our little rig.
We have a big paddle and camp party at the end of Sept at Fish Creek Ponds.. Come on over..
its all about basketball this week. Go Orange!

Thanks for the invite. The boy and I are at Rollins the last week of June. Probably will plan another trip with him in the high peaks region. That boy needs to get in the woods!!! I went to Canton ATC for a couple years so I'm familiar. Take care.

We love the ADKs too! and also are in a new (to us) 2015 12HMD. Been out on one 'real' overnight and it is a great upgrade from over a decade of tent(s) camping. Looking forward to reading all the good ideas/advice from JOF Aframe/pup adventures.
