Long time campers but new to Jayco and the forum. Been browsing the forum for the last few months and decided I should probably join. We sold our Terry and picked up a 2016 Jayflight Elite 26BHS last fall. Love it! Nice to have the extra room and bunks for the kids! Thanks to all the contributors that make this site so great! Lots of good ideas – used an idea from here to build a bunk ladder earlier this week so the kids can get in and out of the top bunk without wrecking something or themselves.

No major issues with the new unit so far. A recall fix for the wireless remote, re-build of the front bed and HWT pressure valve all flawlessly taken care of under warranty. The only real concern so far has been the wiring to the slide motor. Wouldn’t work this spring and found the connection to the slide motor had melted and burned off. Poor connections do happen but I hope the rest are ok.
