Hola from NW Lower Michigan

My wife & I are (trying) to learn Spanish using Duolingo. Hence the Hola!

We are pulling our 2017 Jayco JayFlight 21QB using a 2016 Lincoln Navigator Reserve.

I am in the process of eliminating the SLA 12v deep cycle battery with a Lithium Iron Phospate - 12V 100Ah LiFePO4 Deep Cycle battery.

I would like to be presumptuous as a new poster and suggest that an actual subforum be devoted to SOLAR & BATTERIES. That would be the place for all threads related to using solar panels, controllers, modifications needed and what batteries are suitable. My limited experience and knowledge suggests Lithium batteries are the best, especially with solar panels.

I searched on lithium and found threads all over the place. Similarly with solar. Many of those threads just mention solar, or lithium since that was my battery interest. Since both are becoming more prevalent every season and perhaps the future of powering RVs and boondocking a dedicated subforum is in order?

Be, keep & stay safe, jef & kathi
