Howdy from Arkansas!

New member from central Arkansas. Just got our first coach, a nice 2005 Greyhawk 29GS with 22,000 miles and we love it. Purchased from an older couple, no smoke or pets. Needs new tires due to weather checking and my wife wants the carpet and vinyl flooring replaced with hardwood floors (yes Dear, I'll get right on it!). It has the entertainment center with the big TV over the cab and I like the big shower. We looked at a bunch before we bought this one and I feel we made a good choice.

Happy to be on the site and hope to make a lot of new friends!

Welcome aboard and congratulations on your Greyhawk.

Check out Uniroyal Laredo HD/H tires for your coach. I ran them (longer than I should have) on my old motorhome for 10 years and no cracking. I was so impressed with them I bought the same tires for my current tow vehicle.

They make very nice looking laminate/vinyl flooring that looks like wood floor. I have a friend in SC that specilizes in flooring for campers...Let me know if you want number.

Welcome, I grew up in Arkansas, joined the Navy, and after serving 21 years, I now live in Tennessee. But, I still go to Arkansas every chance I get to visit family.

Welcome to the forum - I fell in love with Arkansas as well... I ended up at Little Rock AFB Base back in the early 60s and finished up my Air Force days there... Got married there, raised two kids there, done alot of fishing all over the many hide away places all over central Arkansas. Was a radio mechanic for the now closed Titan II Missile silos all around that area back then. We would pack our fishing gear first for every maintenance trip. Then fish all the way back to the base... Spent alot of time running all over the high country of Arkansas with my trusty ole Jeep... Lived in Jacksonville, Cabot, and North Little Rock Gravel Ridge... All Jeep trips started out on highway 5 heading NORTH haha... I even know where Oil Trough and Toad Suck Ferry is hehe...

Nice touch having the big TV in the cab over area in your 29GS Greyhawk... I always thought the cab over area was much wasted space... That looks nice...

Recently (last 20 years anyway) have made a many of trips running the roads thru the South part of Arkansas from Lake Village to Texarkanna working on a NAVY Space Surveillance sensor system across the bottom part of the US. Have pulled my OFF-ROAD POPUP camper back and forth US82 on many a road trips through Arkansas. We sure loved the mom and pop telephone companies haha... I was always amazed back then to make a long distance phone call and have to give a credit card number haha - We had one Space Surveillance site at Lewisville Ark.. Back then pulling into Texarkanna on US82 was a big treat as that was the first Wattaburger place you would find coming in from the East... Another treat was seeing the hundreds of old lawn mowers all lined up in a guys yard just as you was around the Red River bridge area.

You gotta love Arkansas....
