Howdy from New Mexico

Howdy from Alamogordo, New Mexico!

I'm new to the site and I don't even own an RV yet, but I want one. I'm just trying to figure out what I want and need. I figured this site might help me with my decision.

I've never really been 'RVing' per se. Way back in the day, my dad managed Big J Campground in Grand Junction, Colorado. A couple summers, I visited there and stayed in his very small camper--it had no amenities whatsoever. I enjoyed those summers just the same.

Anyway, I'm retired now and I believe traveling the Southwest and the west in an RV might be nice. The kicker: I don't want to buy a new towing vehicle. I have a 2015 Toyota 4Runner; so, I will base trailer decisions on what that vehicle can tow while carrying three adults (I have a handicapped adult son).

Howdy from Ohio! I would suggest finding a reputable dealer near you, and walk through some units that match your TV.

Welcome from Wisconsin and enjoy your search for a camper that will fill your needs and wants. And don't believe a salesperson that says "your 4Runner can tow this". Do your research on tongue weight, GVWR, CCC, etc.
