iRV-how to use

Hi All...
I am new to Jayco and I am new to forum's. It took me awhile to get here to write anything. Hope I'm doing this right, if not HELP!! We just purchased a 26ft JayFlight. My husband & I are not tech's so really need help with how to use the iRV and getting a DVD to work, speakers to work with the TV. Any advice?
Thank you

Not sure what an iRV is...

To watch a DVD, insert DVD, then use the TV remote and use the Input button and arrow up or down to Aux 1, then select OK.

Could be one of the other inputs as well.....

Volume for the DVD will be the volume control on the radio/DVD device.

If you have outside speakers, you may need to deselect speakers "C"

Also, it will be helpful when you post questions if we know more about your RV and tow Vehicle ( if applicable ). On the top row of this site, use the quick links button and edit your signature and add specific about your equipment

If I remember right my IRV did the same thing as yours. With the things I got from the dealer was a set of speaker cables. I pulled the radio and had to connect these to the out connections on the built in DVD player to the in connections of the radio. Now we use a blueray player so I ran the cable from the built in DVD player to the blueray. There was even a hole already in the bottom of the cabinet. Hope this helps.

It is the radio/dvd unit that comes in some of the TT's. If I get the chance today, I will look behind the TV, I believe the TV's audio output has to be plugged into the iRV radio unit. Dont know why they didnt do it in the first place

Whoever "installed" the system in my 19RD had it totally mis-wired.

The TV's audio outputs are supposed to connect to the AUX inputs on the iRV.

The Video and audio outputs from the iRV connect to the TV's inputs.

I found the audio outputs connected together, the video wire connected properly and the other cable left with the remotes and manuals.

Read the manual for the iRV. It won't help. But at least you'll understand the caliber of the people who built the unit.

I have the iRV6500BT in my 2015 White Hawk 32DSBH. If you have the same check my video Also some pics of the radio/dvd unit and the rear of the TV in case you need to add cables. The TV is a Jensen 32inch. You need to pull the levers in towards you and swing TV up. Good Luck with your new TT
