Jay Series 806

Hello! We are looking at purchasing a new to us 2008 Jay Series 806. The one we are looking at doesnít have brakes. We are wondering if electric brakes can be added. Looking for any information! We are going to be pulling with a minivan but really want brakes just to be safe.

Yes. It may require replacing the entire axle. Etrailer has additional information. Either way it's kind of a pain to do even if you're handy.

Welcome to the forum.

Keep in mind that if you add brakes to the trailer, you'll also need a brake controller for your tow vehicle.
