Jayfeather slideout

I recently purchased a 2021 Jayco Featherlite 22RB trailer. I have had issues with the slideout on past campers and want to be prepared in case I need to manually retract it. The manuals that came with the trailer didn't include any information on where to find the manual over-ride, and the service dept at the dealer I bought it from didn't know either.

Does anyone know how to get this kind of information?

Need the type slide out. Post some pics of the slide out and mechanism.

Thanks for your reply. I'm attaching a picture of the slide out mechanism underneath. It appears to be a Rack & pinion system through the frame. But, I don't see any labels indicating the manufacturer.

After watching various you tubes and blogs, it looks like the best guess is a Power Gear system (but that's a guess at this point).

I'm guessing that if I cut way the corrugated plastic that holds up insulation for the 4-seasons protection, I should find a 3/4" hex that will allow me to manually move the slide out in & out. But, before just cutting away, I would like to know the best place to locate this option.

As I mentioned earlier, I don't have an issue at this time, but want to be prepared if I have a power or mechanical issue in the future.

If you need to access something under the corrugated plastic they normally already have a door cut in and it is held in place by screws. I think the square shaft you took a picture of may be your override. Put a socket on it and see if the slide moves.
