Jumped in with both feet!

Well, we did it.
After years of back-packing, tent camping out of the trunk of a car, and borrowing my parents pop-up, my wife and I have entered the world of travel trailer ownership! We purchased a 2016 Jayfeather7 20rl in March. We took it on a shakedown trip this past weekend and we are hooked!
I’ve been doing a lot reading on this here forum and I can tell being a part of this community is going to be lots of fun.
Looking forward to interacting with y’all!

Welcome to the world of RVing. I ddin't start until 2012 with a Jayco Jayflight Swift SLX 185. Never had RVed but I was hooked, christened the coach as the Love Hut after getting married at the Vietnam War Memorial in New Mexico and honeymooning in Cimarron Canyon. Hauled it as far south as the Houston and San Angelo area, Devil's Tower Wyoming, Custer South Dakota and Lake Ft. Gibson Oklahoma. Out of a Jayco for a couple of years, but got another one and planning to shake it down in the next few weeks. Jayfeather 23RL, me, wife and dog. Life can't get much better. Nights camped 2018-16, all in the old unit.

Welcome Eli.

Put on your seat belts cause it's gonna be a wild ride. I'm new here as well since we are new Jayco owners, but been glamping for a while and blogging on other (Forest River) blogs.

You'll start with one mod, which will lead to many. Then in about a year or 2 you'll run out of modifications and you'll be looking to upgrade to something bigger so you can do more mods.

Congratulations and Happy Camping.

Welcome

Hi, welcome to JOF! You will be amazed at how many trips to Wally World and to the dollar store for things you “just have to have” you will make. One can never have too many silicone mini tongs, spoons and measuring cups....
Nesting is one of the funnest things (can I say funnest?) I love to do in the trailer every year.
