Just another noob saying howdy

Nice place you all have here! I stumbled on it doing online research for how to service an RV HVAC unit.

Not much to tell in terms of intro, but here's the thumbnail: just an ordinary guy doing life in America - military service (USMC) just out of high school. Got out and married my high school sweetheart, blessed now with two grown daughters, two God-sent sons in law, and three outstanding grands. One dog (English Springer Spaniel), 57 previous cats (lifetime total, never more than 2 keepers at one time). Recently retired after spending 42 years plying the skills of a journalist, theologian/pastor, and counselor on a daily basis. Username: bestowed on me by a golfing buddy one day when a drunk at a golf course asked what I did for a living, and my buddy didn't want me to say "pastor!" As a long-time forum junkie (more than 20 years participating in motorcycling forums) I read more than I post, but occasionally I chime in.

Thanks to all for the kind words.

Roger, I've done the signature setup in the control panel, and the correct box is checked in options, but it's not showing yet. It may be a server resolution issue, or perhaps there is a post number guideline before signatures show?

Via edit: I'm going to nod towards server resolution time. It showed up with this post.
