Let me introduce ourselves!

We got the camping bug about two years ago and started out in a 2013 Jayco Sport Pop Up and it was great, until we did a long trip ;-) It had worked out fantastic for short trips to the beach and local mountains, but then we did a trek to Yellowstone for the eclipse last summer. We went with friends that had an Airstream which really, really spoiled us with that rear view. We didn't have any problems with the pop up, other than there was no shower.

When we returned from a FABULOUS two week trip, we started looking for a travel trailer with the back window. We had looked at the 27DSRL a couple years ago before we even bought the pop up, and when one came up at a local RV dealer, we went to look right away and lucked into a great deal on a 2015 27DSRL! We got it home a couple weeks ago and our first trip is a local trip with friends out to Anza Borrego in a few weeks. We are so excited!

So our adventures are soon to begin (other than the driveway!). Thanks in advance for all of your help in our future!

Welcome to JOF.

Took a quick look online, and that is a nice looking floorplan. Hope you enjoy it for many years and trips to come!

One oddity on the plan (at least for the 2015 that popped up) is a fridge in the bedroom? Is that really a feature on this unit? Was thinking it must be externally accessible; is it accessed through the storage hatch?

That might be a cool feature. We're not big fans a full outdoor kitchen, but just a drink fridge would be a nice addon.

Thanks! It's a small outdoor fridge that is accessed from the front storage...it was just an added bonus for us!

Congratulations and welcome!

That's a great floor plan and one we considered when buying our first TT

Congrats and welcome!

We also have a 2015 Whitehawk, we bought it last year. One of the items that sold us on it was the full queen bed (80" long) but I noticed your's is a 74" long. I would have thought they would just standardize the lineup with one size bed.

Welcome to JOF and luxury camping!! We have the rear living fp and when the tv rolls down into its storage we have a picture window out the back. Sometimes it's a great view, sometimes not. That's why it has blinds!
