Made the switch

Finally made the switch to a stand up camper. started with a tent and my dog and all was great. Got married and the tent became more difficult to get the wife to use. Then had kids, and there was no more tent. Moved into a pop-up to merge the two worlds of tent camping and meeting the wife and kids in the middle. After a few years another dog came along, the kids grew, and complaints of the pop-up's size became more common. So, we made the switch to a 2014 Jay Feather Ultralight X19H camper.
I pick it up in a couple weeks. We are super psyched and cannot wait.

Fantastic it is all part of the natural progression enjoy the journey. Each step has its great moments, I still miss the tent in ways because when traveling we got on the road quicker with te tent than with the tent trailer. Let the camping continue.

Welcome!

You'll find many of us have made a very similar journey. Ours was pretty much the same except for the dogs. Looking forward to getting our X19H out of storage two weeks from today.

Let the begin!

I am betting the biggest majority have done just that, it's the "natural" progression.
