Jayco 33.5 RETS 2013

We aren't new to RVing but new to Jayco. Purchased mid June and used for 42 days this Summer. Warning to other new owners watch the screws that hold the tension strings for blinds. They work out! Been back to dealer 4 times for repairs. They finally replaced screws with larger ones should hold now. Jayco should put in proper ones at the factory. Also had to have one of the motors for rear Jacks as it failed after used 7 times.
Happy travels.

Welcome to the group, Million Miler! I too have messed with the tension string screws long enough! I put a dab of PL Premium behind the tension ring and went to bigger screws. Let's see 'em move now!

Welcome to the JOF Leonard & Nancy! We've had to re-do some of our screws also. I know the Jayco reps don't read every thread here, so I meant to email them myself a couple of years ago to suggest the bigger screws, but, it's still on my to-do list LOL. Congrats on the new 5'er!

Yep! My warranty is up in a few months, and the HTT will be going in (Nov 1) for some warranty items (why should I do it when they will). One of the items on the list is exactly those screws.
