Moving Up

We have had a Jayco pop up since 1994 (same one) and have traveled the southeast. Taking possession of a 2015 White Hawk next week and plan more travel during our retirement years. Hopefully this will help us learn what is not in the manual or what the sales person didn't tell us.

My first question is what size socket do you need for raising and lowering the stabilizing jacks?

Thanks

If it's like my 19RD, 3/4".

But My trailer came with a speed handle, kind of like a bit brace with the correct socket welded on.

You could write a book on what is not in the manual, not mentioned by the salesperson and not gone over during the PDI!

How big are the tanks, what size are the lug nuts, where is the spare tire, power rating on the microwave, why doesn't the fan settings on the thermostat make any sense whatsoever, how do you purge the gas line to the water heater, what is the correct for the BBQ connector, ....

Give yourself a year of using the RV before the questions start to calm down.

Congrats on the purchase and welcome aboard! 3/4 inch lug wrench will be what you need.

Enjoy the new TT! Get one of these and use your battery-powered drill:

Camco 57363 Leveling Scissor Jack Socket

It's a 3/4" socket, AFAIK. Less than $5 at Wally World.
