"New" 2005 Jayco 19RB

Greetings.

I have a 2005 19RB that I purchased in essentially brand new condition about 2 1/2 years ago. The previous owner gotten it brand new to use while his house was being renovated after Katrina and he lived in it by himself for about 6 weeks directly after the storm. In December 2005 he placed it in his airplane hangar never to move another inch until I got it in September 2014. The best part was the price. A mere $2,500.00!!! It was obviously indoors, protected, and out of the sun.

I did replace the original Maxis tires, and the gas valve for the furnace was stuck closed. That has been it for repairs. Everything works as the factory intended.

I work as a conductor for a railroad and I'm having to travel ALOT to keep working. Without me having this lil trailer I simply would not have been able to keep working. My wife and I have only managed to use it a handful of times for something other than work.

My tow vehicle is a 2007 Ford F150 regular cab short bed. It does have the V-6, but I have plenty of brakes, suspension, steering....etc but do fall short on power.

Now that's the deal of the century and I don't think anyone will ever top this one. Well I'm sure you deserve it and the best of luck with it on all of your camping adventures. Now remember if you ever see a Jayco at any of your crossings you gotta give us a TooT.

Congrats on the buy of the century!

I also own a 19' and used to pull it with a Toyota Tacoma V6 with no real difficulties.

Too much reserve power will leave you wasting fuel the other 90% of the time you are not towing.

Enjoy the ride for now. When your F-150 gets too worn out for towing, then consider upgrading.
