New 2016 Melbourne couple

Howdy all from Western Pennsylvania. We are long time campers but short time Jayco owners. Bought our 2016 Melbourne "24K" 2 weeks ago (used with 4800 miles). One weekend under our belt to shake down, test equipment/gear, and figure out storage. So far, very happy and loving the rig.

Awesome. How do you like yours? Any issues you've found / fixed that you can share?

Only got 150 miles and 2 nights in it so far...but haven't found anything I don't like...except the radio. That damn thing is nearly impossible to figure out...but I'm not beaten yet!

Great to know someone else has the same year / model. Awesome. How do you like yours? Any issues you've found / fixed that you can share?

If you find out how to power the radio down let me know. Only issues we have had so far is the dinette window would open as we drove (fixed under warranty), battery tray wouldn't extend all the way (fixed it myself) and the mattress was designed for a different unit or poor design for ours (still working on). We both love it so far. We moved up from a self converted Sprinter van that I use primarily for work.

Actually stumbled across that function after hours of swearing at it...or maybe it revealed itself to me because of me swearing at it...either way, this should work for you:
1) assuming your on a radio station, there should be a little "down" arrow in the upper left corner by the radio station favorites numbers
2) touch that arrow and it should bring up a list of 'choices'. Mine shows: Radio, iPod, Pandora, AUX, Camera View, and...here's the winner...Source OFF.
3) select Source OFF and abra-freaking-cadbra...no more radio (or whatever you were playing!!)
Let me know if it works for you. Meanwhile I'm waiting on a part to fix my backup camera...did you have any issues with yours? Mine looks like a bad acid trip when it comes on.

Thanks for the tip. I will give that a shot. I haven't had any issues with the back-up camera.
