New 2017 Jayco SLX 174BH

Greetings! Excited to be new members of the Jayco family. I got to use the new trailer a few times last October and have spent the last few month planning upgrades and collecting parts. Here are the plans below. What am I missing?

Added and mounted TV
MaxxAir II Vent Covers
Vortex II Vent Fan
Add bunk curtains (using Jayco OEM curtains and track)
Add bunk handles and a foot hold
Oxygenics Shower-head
Replace stereo head unit & speakers
USB outlets in the bunk

Here are some pics...

Awesome to see one like ours! We did the 2017 175RD and love it!

I like the TV mount. I agree you look set.
We got the Valterra water pressure regulator as recommended here too

I picked up the USB outlet from Lowes. It was about 20 bucks. You can see in the album that it has 1 regular outlet and 2 USB plugs. I also got a wall plate extender because the USB outlet is deeper than the stock outlet. The stupid extender was $7. Finally the plate cover for about $.99.

Got the Oxygenics shower head and hose installed.

I used a different hose from Dura Faucet because the one that came with the Oxygenics was complete junk. It was rubber made to look metal and had no flex to it. It just felt and looked like crap.

I placed the "pause" valve under the faucet. My main concern is having the pause valve on the wall where it will be subjected to strain and eventual failure. I will see if it a major pain to bend down to use it while showering and might change my mind.

Thoughts?

Black/Gray Tank Dumps

Finished my lines and connectors for dumping my tanks. I will be mostly using a blue boy at my seasonal site to dump and move waste. The final set-up is below and posted in my album.

Got the outlet installed. Turns out I didn't need the wall plate extender.

Hi, love your upgrades and mods. I wanted to add curtains as well to the bunks. Can you share links to your set up? My interior is the same as yours.

Thanks and will be following to see your future mods. Looks great.

Thanks! The curtain I ordered through my dealer so that it would match the queen bed curtain. I ordered the main bed curtain and had it cut and sewn by a local seamstress. The curtain was about $60. Kind of pricey but I wanted the exact match. It did not come with the track which I ordered from Amazon. It is called "Glide Tape" but make sure you get the celling mount style, the other style is for a wall mount. My only other advice would be to leave about a 1 inch Gap between the track and the padded bunk header. I only did about ½inch and it is a bit tight when the curtain bunches up as you close it.
