New 2018 338rets Owners
Hello, very excited to pick up our new 2018 Jayco Eagle 338rets some time next week. This will be our first RV and looking forward to many adventures to come.

Need a big truck! Its a heavy TT. They are nice units. If you see anything wrong during PDI, get the dealer to fix it. Don't be afraid to take home a different day if they need time fixing issues. Enjoy the PDI. No question is a stupid question. This is your first RV, there will be alot to learn.

Like mia389 said!!

It is still winter, they have the TT, want the sale... make a list while doing the walk-through, tell them to fix the things wrong that you found and tell them you will pick it up week from that day! When you go to pick it up after the items were cared for check them out one by one and if there is still an issue, tell them you will be back next week to pick it up after they fix... and then you can drive away with a TT that is ready to roll.

Thanks to all for the warm welcome! I've been skimming through this forum over the last couple of years while doing research. JOF definitely seems like a great community of people. As a newbie, there will definitely be a steep learning curve, but I see that as part of the adventure. Looking forward to learning from the wealth of experience here.
