new 23j hybrid trailer
We just upgraded from a Jayco pop up to a 23J Hybrid model. We are excited to get it home, few more weeks before it will be nice enough to make sure we dont get anymore snow.

Any suggestions on things we should be aware of on this model?

We had a very similar model.. A couple of things on the hybrid if you have never had one...
1- when opening the bunk ends just drape the canvass loosely over the end.. Do not pull or stretch it.. It moves perfectly into place when you put the inside bar into place.
2- use your fans in the bunk ends especially if your running air conditioning or you will get a build up of condensation on the canvas.
3- this is obvious, but I will mention anyway.. If you close up the trailer in rainy or even damping weather make sure you open the bunk ends to dry them out ASAP.. In order to avoid mildue..
4.-enjoy the benifits of the hybrid... Open the screens.. It's like living outdoors.. So fun!

Welcome Slabat. We have the same Tt ours is still being stored for us at the dealers an hour away so we are counting the weekends till we pick it up mid April

I have never had a pop-up but I did have a Hybrid. Great campers and loved it. For me the best mod I ever did was to make bunk-end covers from space bags. It cut down on the light in the morning (I like sleeping in) kept it warmer and cooler, and cut down on the condensation. We had an Antigua (Starcraft) and I do miss that camper.
