New 264 bhw

Ladies and Gentlemen,
New member.
Picking up a 264 BHW on Wednesday. I'd like to see what recommendations members have for must have items - outdoor carpets, chairs, utensils, tools that and etc. that make life easier. Use the assumption that I have nothing but the gear that the dealer gives me in the starter package. It is a lot easier to get the info from the forum than adventure learning. Family of five. Three elementary age kids and one English pointer.
Thanks
Luke

Welcome to the forum and congratulations!

Most likely, the dealer will give you some starter items that are low quality (i.e. sewer hose). Check Walmart's RV section for outdoor mats, sewer hoses, etc or buy from Amazon for the lowest prices.

For starters, I'd invest in a good sewer hose (Camco Rhino), a 20' RV white water hose, a water pressure regulator, toilet chemicals (STS drop in tablets are my choice), a socket you can chuck in your cordless drill to use on your stabilizer jacks and maybe a 30A to 15/20A adapter. A small fan or two, an electric heater, dish drying rack, small trash can, a collapsible laundry hamper, a cheap set of utensils and a holder for them as well as some plastic dishes come in handy too. There is plenty more to buy but pace yourself...you will figure it all out very soon.

X-chocks to eliminate some of the rocking when people are moving in the trailer or the wind is blowing.

Small stick-on levels to place on driver's side of trailer to guide you in leveling the trailer. Before putting them on the trailer get the trailer level with reference to the refrigerator (left and right, front to back) using one of those six to twelve inch levels that will fit in the refrigerator. Once you get the trailer level affix the stick on levels at the front end of the trailer on the left and on the left side of the trailer near the front. When you arrive at a campsite you can now use the outside levels to get the trailer level, first side to side using leveling blocks and then front to back using the tongue jack.

50A to 30A dog bone adapter for when the 30A post is trashed but a clean 50A outlet is available.
