New 264BHW owner in Texas

Greetings,

My wife and I just purchased our 2017 264BHW yesterday. Growing up my parents had a little Airstream and later a Starcraft pop up. I have some great memories as a kid going to Big Bend NP and other places in Texas.
I wanted to make new memories with my two kids and wife before the kids get older. We have a 9 year old girl and a 3 year old boy. They both were super excited about the bunks! My daughter said we had to get it because the bunks had the "Teddy Bear" coverings on them.
We are taking our first trip tomorrow to Seminole Canyon SP. it's only about 40 miles away. Good for a shake down trip.
My parents have a big Jayco Desinger 5th wheel that we have borrowed on occasion, but now we have our own. Hopefully we are going todo the American Southwest this summer.
I've read a lot on here before buying and look forward to your comments and help as questions arise.

Thanks
Josh
