Yes, tree branches, bank drive thru's, low bridges, turning too tight if you have a short bed truck, etc. etc. There is a lot to look out for. Just be mindful of your surroundings and enjoy your 5er...I sure enjoy mine.

Welcome to the Jayco Owners Forum BigBass! Congrats on your new 5'er. At this point since you already have it, coinsidering it may take members a while to get on and post suggestions here, try googling for general 5'er suggestions. Here's one I found with some good advice.... here. Did you take your maiden voyage yet?

You always have to keep in mind that they really cut the corner when manuvering. That can be hard to get used to if you have had a travel trailer.

First trip

Had a blast this weekend. Had a few minor problems, bed was like a rock. Installed 4" memory foam, simple fix. Even got to go fishing. Did catch my normal limit of 3 bass.

We also added a memory foam pad to our bed but I think ours was a 2" that we purchased from Costco! Glad to hear your Maiden Voyage went well... anything you learned that you can teach us?
