New and a question:

I am Royce from Raleigh and I will be new to RVing after I pick up my Greyhawk 29ME Monday morning. Anybody towing a Mini Cooper? what year? straight shift? Is it as simple as hitching it up, putting it in neutral, and going?
Thanks in advance for any info you can provide.

Welcome to JOF. Being from Raleigh, you'll be one of the few forum members who will know where Fuquay-Varina is located.

Have not towed a car with our Greyhawk, but I am sure others can offer some advice. I have read where backing up with a toad attached is not a good idea.

Is your dealer going to supply the tow bar and connections? Is that Plemmons RV?

Congratulations!

Yep, I know exactly where that burg is. Agree, I don't see any way to back up with a toad attached. I don't know who will do my hitch when I decide what to toad with. Would like to get a Mini but don't want to buy and not be able to tow. I am fairly sure I have seen them on the highway. Picking up our Greyhawk this Mon. Raring to get going. Yep, Plemmons.

Welcome aboard! The Mini is not to be towed 4 wheels down, according to the manufacturer, though it's been done. A tow dolly may be better.
