Hi everyone! We are new Jay Flight SLX 8 248 RBSW trailer owners and new to RVs in general. We live in Bozeman MT and plan to boondock frequently throughout the rockies.
We used to own a large sailboat in the Caribbean so we have enough systems knowledge to be dangerous. lol. As a heavy DIY guy, I am starting to plan a solar/inverter system and I look forward to learning from the rest of you and sharing what I learn on the way.
So hello, and thanks to all of you for making this a great place for meeting people and sharing.

Snow dog, the fiancé and I wish you well from Austin Texas.
I spent a summer just outside of Bozeman working on center pivots when I was a kid. Fell in love with that part of our beautiful country. But like my uncle said (who lives in Alaska) you are not allowed to say you love it until you suffer a winter. Lol

Welcome from another Bozemanite. Lots of great camping around this great state, enjoy. We mostly camp in public campgrounds, USFS, BLM, and others, but boondocking opportunities everywhere, as you've probably already discovered.
